Urgent Need: Help Us Feed Nearly 300 Children in Kenya

During our recent mission to Kenya, we witnessed firsthand the devastating effects of severe drought and food shortages. By God’s grace and through the generosity of those who supported the mission, we were able to distribute food supplies to nine villages, three groups of women, and a school serving nearly 300 children.

Many of these children walk long distances on foot every day just to attend school, with some walking as far as 25 miles (approximately 40 kilometers). After making this journey, some arrive at school without having eaten a meal that day.

When food supplies are available, meals are prepared at the school and shared among all the children so that no child is left hungry. At times, teachers have even used money from their own limited salaries to purchase food for their students.

Right now, the school’s food supplies are critically low, and there is not enough food to provide meals for the children through the end of the current school term in October.

Our immediate goal is to raise $1,500 to help provide enough food to feed nearly 300 children through the end of the school term.

Every contribution matters. Whether it is $10, $25, $50, $100, or whatever God places on your heart, every gift can become part of putting food on the table for these children.

There is also an ongoing need. Approximately $3,000 per month would allow us to continue supporting meals for these children beyond this immediate need. Anyone who feels led to become a monthly supporter can make a tremendous and lasting difference.

Please pray with us, share this appeal with others, and prayerfully consider giving.
